Program funds will provide access to the novel capabilities of ultra-short pulses of high-peak power laser light. This opportunity to initiate preliminary experiments and collect foundational data should serve as the basis for future research proposals for federal funding.

Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted, and awarded until October 31, 2015 based on the availability of funds.
