Application Deadline: 02/01/2024 This Announcement seeks to identify applicant organizations that propose to host and, as applicable, serve as consortium partners for a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Climate Adaptation Science Center (CASC) in the regions indicated below, and to determine if their proposed science, partnership, and program support activities and strategies are appropriate to serve in the following roles:• North Central and Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Centers. The geographic footprints for potential hosts of these CASCs are indicated in the map in Attachment A. The Arts and Humanities Research Enhancement Program is designed to foster research, scholarship and creative activity in the arts and humanities to support excellence in these disciplines. This program provides seed money to help faculty achieve short-term goals that, in turn, increases their competitiveness for external grants and/or increases the societal impact of their work, to ultimately set the stage for larger projects.

This program supports visiting invited scholars who will give a lecture, symposia, or colloquia.
Applications must be routed and approved in NuRamp by 5:00pm on the 2nd Friday in October, and by 5:00 pm on the 2nd Friday in March of each year. Applications submitted for the October deadline need to be for visits scheduled during January -June of the following year.
